They Don’t Eat Vegetables???

They Don’t Eat Vegetables??? Kids and vegetables…..  A question I hear more often than not.  I’m not here to sugar coat a thing.  The truth is if your kids are not eating vegetables, rejecting them, do not like them or they taste bad, they haven’t been introduced to them Enough, period. Children adapt to routine, they adapt to food as well.  If foods are introduced to them frequently, the food then becomes normal.  If they were introduced at an early age, taken away after they rejected them, introduced months later, of course they are not going to eat them.  It becomes an issue, a forbidden food.  And now you are coaching your kids through meal times just to get them to eat it, or negotiating with them to eat “some”. I am fortunate enough to have lots of kids here at my home all the time, and I have found an effective way to overcome this……  If your kids are old enough to use the internet, take some time to do your research on all the health benefits of a specific vegetable, engage your children into learning what is good for their bodies.  You must serve vegetables at meal times, whether it’s lunch or dinner, serve them.  If they are taking a lunch to school, pack them.  And just because the first week didn’t go so well, they came home uneaten or thrown away and you later find out about it, keep doing it. Childhood obesity is at an all time high.  It is our responsibility to teach our kids good eating habits so that it will carry on...
